My table isn't resizing the way I expect
Print Studio vs Print Sheet
Tables in Print Studio are visual objects — they have a fixed position and size on the canvas. Tables in Print Sheet are data objects — they are automatically paginated and sized to fit the data.
If you are trying to create a spreadsheet-style table with formulas and auto-sized rows, use Print Sheet instead.
Why column widths reset
In Print Studio, changing the table dimensions from the corner handle scales the whole table proportionally. To change individual column widths, drag the column divider inside the table — not the table edge.
Why row heights change when I add text
In Print Studio, row heights are not auto-sized by default. When you add more text than fits in the current row height, the text overflows. Use the row height handle in the table properties panel to manually set a height, or enable Resize rows to fit content in the table properties.
Why the table goes off the canvas
If your table is wider than the canvas, it extends beyond the canvas edge and may be cropped on export. Either shrink the table or increase the canvas size using File -> Document setup.
