Exporting a sheet for print
Pick a chart type, map data series, customise colours and labels, and embed in a print-ready export.
Charts and data visualization basics
Insert a chart
Select the data range first, then choose Insert -> Chart. Print Sheet suggests a chart type based on the data shape.
Chart types
- Bar chart — categorical comparison
- Line chart — trend over time or continuous variable
- Pie chart — share of a whole (use sparingly — pie charts are hard to read)
- Scatter plot — relationship between two numeric variables
- Area chart — cumulative trend
Data series
For most charts you have:
- One category axis — labels on the X axis
- One or more value series — numeric values on the Y axis
The series mapping is shown below the chart preview. Adjust if Print Sheet guessed wrong.
Customisation
- Colours — assign per-series colours
- Labels — show values, percentages, or categories on the chart
- Legend — show or hide the legend
- Title and axes — add or edit labels
- Gridlines — show or hide
Print readiness
Charts export as vector at any zoom level. The chart canvas size is editable — drag the corner handle to set the print size directly.
