Print quality guide: DPI, bleed, and margins inside HDPrint
Choose page size, scaling, and output format. Handle wide tables that don't fit on one page.
Exporting a sheet for print
Open the export panel
Choose File -> Export for print. The panel shows page layout options.
Page size
Choose from A4, A3, Letter, Legal, or a custom size. Portrait or landscape orientation.
Scaling
Three options:
- Fit to one page — shrink the entire sheet to fit on a single page
- Fit to width — scale so the sheet is one page wide, however many pages tall
- Actual size — print at 100%, with the sheet flowing over multiple pages
For wide tables, Fit to width is usually the right choice.
Repeat header rows
Toggle Repeat header rows to print the first row on every page. Useful for multi-page printouts.
Output format
- PDF — for sharing or sending to a print shop
- PNG — single image per page
- Print — send directly to a connected printer
Margins
Set margins in millimetres. Most templates use 10 mm or 12.5 mm.
