How to start a new Print Doc document, apply heading styles, and use paragraph formatting.
Creating and formatting a document
Start a new document
From the home dashboard, choose Print Doc. A new document opens with a blank first page.
Heading styles
Select a paragraph and choose a heading level from the style panel:
- Heading 1 — chapter or major section
- Heading 2 — subsection
- Heading 3 — sub-subsection
Heading styles include size, weight, spacing, and colour. They are the backbone of an accessible, scannable document.
Body text
Use Body text for the main content. You can change the font, size, and colour from the format panel.
Paragraph formatting
- Line spacing — single, 1.5, double, or custom
- Space before / after — vertical spacing between paragraphs
- Alignment — left, centre, right, justified
- First line indent — for formal letters or academic style
Lists
Start a line with - or * for bullet points. Start with 1. for numbered lists. Indent with spaces or tabs.
