Undo, redo, and version history

How autosave works, how version history is stored, and how to find a project you started weeks ago.

Saving and finding your projects

Every project autosaves while you work. You do not need to click Save — but you can also create named snapshots on demand.

Autosave

Print Studio, Print Sheet, and Print Doc autosave to the project store every few seconds of inactivity. Saves happen locally first, then synchronise to the cloud.

If you are offline, autosave queues locally and uploads when you reconnect.

Version history

Open File → Version history to see a list of snapshots. Each shows the timestamp, an optional note, and the file size. Preview or restore any snapshot with one click.

Finding a project

The projects list is the default view when you open the dashboard. It supports:

  • Free-text search across project name, tags, and notes
  • Sort by last modified, created date, or name
  • Filter by tool (Studio, Sheet, Doc) or by tag

Notes and tags

Open the project info panel to add a description or tags. Tags are useful for organising seasonal projects (e.g. "Diwali", "Exam season") or client work.
